The recognition highlights the state government’s commitment towards strengthening digital governance, data protection and secure technology-driven public services.

Kaushlendra V Singh (IAS) Secretary to Chief Minister, met the Chief Minister and apprised him of the achievement. The Chief Minister appreciated the dedication and efforts of the department’s officers and employees behind this milestone.
The National e-Governance Awards recognise innovative initiatives by government departments that promote transparency, efficiency and citizen-centric digital services. The Silver Award in the Cyber Security category reflects Madhya Pradesh’s focused approach towards creating robust digital infrastructure and ensuring secure delivery of urban services.
Under the leadership of the Urban Development and Housing Department, Madhya Pradesh has been continuously adopting technology-based solutions for improving municipal administration, enhancing service delivery and making governance more accessible for citizens. The award is seen as an acknowledgement of the department’s efforts in building a secure and resilient digital ecosystem.
Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Dubey and Commissioner Sanket S. Bhondve, along with other senior officials, expressed gratitude for the recognition and credited the collective efforts of officers and employees of the department for the achievement.
