By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|A. Shiyas, IPS (MP:2008), has been appointed as Inspector General in the Border Security Force (BSF) on deputation basis. The competent authority has approved his appointment under the usual terms and conditions governing central deputation. Following the order, the concerned authorities have been requested to relieve Shiyas immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment at the Centre. His appointment marks another significant responsibility for the 2008-batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IPS officer in the central security establishment. The move comes as part of the government’s ongoing deployment of experienced police officers to key positions in central armed police organisations.
