TOLIC Delhi-2 Honours NBCC for Promoting Hindi and Official Language

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|The Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Delhi-2 (Undertaking-2), honoured NBCC (India) Limited and its employees for their outstanding contribution to the promotion and effective implementation of Hindi during its 17th half-yearly meeting held on August 19, 2026.
Smt. Anshuli Arya, IAS, Secretary, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and Dr. Vikas Kumar, Chairman, TOLIC Delhi-2 and Managing Director, DMRC, presented the awards and recognition to NBCC officials.
T. D. Mairal, GM (HRM/IR/Rajbhasha), along with other NBCC officials, received a Trophy/Shield in appreciation of the publication of the 20th edition of NBCC’s Hindi in-house magazine and the organisation’s exemplary efforts towards promoting the Official Language.
The recognition reflects NBCC’s sustained efforts to strengthen the use of Hindi in its official communication and institutional activities. The Hindi in-house magazine has provided an important platform for encouraging employees to engage with the Official Language and showcasing their literary and creative contributions.
Individual NBCC employees were also recognised for their outstanding performances in various Rajbhasha competitions. Jai Ram, AGM (Finance), Vandana Ojha, Manager (Official Language), Ramesh Kumar Vaish, Manager (HRM), and Arvind Kumar Srivastava, Executive, received awards in the Individual Employee category.
The honours underline the commitment of NBCC employees towards the effective implementation of the Official Language policy and encourage greater participation in Rajbhasha-related activities. The recognition at the TOLIC Delhi-2 meeting also highlights NBCC’s institutional approach towards strengthening Hindi in its day-to-day functioning.
