Major IAS reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh: 32 officers get new assignments

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Madhya Pradesh government has undertaken a significant administrative reorganisation, moving 32 IAS officers to new responsibilities across districts, municipal bodies and key departments. The reshuffle brings fresh leadership to several Zila Panchayats, municipal corporations and development authorities, while also strengthening state-level administrative departments.
The changes involve officers from the 2016 to 2024 batches, with several district-level officers moving into senior departmental and urban administration roles. A number of young IAS officers have also been given independent revenue responsibilities as Sub-Divisional Officers.
Sanjana Jain, IAS (2016)
Sanjana Jain has been moved from Additional Collector, Maihar, to Deputy Secretary in the Water Resources Department, marking her shift from district administration to departmental responsibilities.
Jagdish Kumar Gome, IAS (2016)
Jagdish Kumar Gome has been transferred from CEO, Zila Panchayat Singrauli, to lead Zila Panchayat Sagar, taking charge of rural development administration in the district.
