By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| Ajay Bhadoo, the 1999-batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre, has been granted a six-month extension in his tenure on central deputation, allowing the senior bureaucrat to continue his responsibilities at the Centre for an extended period.

The extension reflects the continued reliance on Bhadoo’s administrative experience and institutional understanding at the national level. Over the years, he has handled a range of important assignments, gaining exposure to policy formulation, inter-governmental coordination and public administration.

A central deputation provides experienced civil servants an opportunity to contribute to national policy and implementation while bringing valuable field-level experience from the states.
