By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg reviewed key development initiatives focusing on strengthening seafood processing and improving school infrastructure and learning environments.

During her visit to the Deras ‘Seafood Park’, Garg held discussions with leading seafood exporters on measures to enhance investment, production and exports in the seafood processing sector. She stressed the need for 100 per cent utilisation of the available infrastructure to maximise the park’s potential.

Garg also chaired a State Level Steering Committee (SLSC) meeting to review the implementation progress of the ‘Godabarish Mishra Adarsha Prathamik Vidyalaya’ scheme. She emphasised expediting infrastructure development in schools while maintaining high standards of quality through effective monitoring.

The Chief Secretary underlined the importance of laying a strong foundation for school education, supported by adequate facilities and modern, safe and child-friendly learning environments. She stressed inter-departmental coordination, regular progress reviews, high aspirations and quality standards, backed by a long-term vision at every stage of implementation.
