Today, on this momentous occasion, BVFCL joins hands with millions of people worldwide to acknowledge the importance of our planet and its invaluable ecosystems.
Under the theme “Solutions to Plastic Pollution,” World Environment Day 2023 serves as a powerful call to action, reminding us of the urgent need to protect and preserve our environment. Plastic pollution has become an escalating global crisis, endangering our lands, oceans, and the delicate balance of life on Earth. However, within this challenge lies a remarkable opportunity to demonstrate our collective resolve and commitment towards finding effective solutions.Through education, innovation, and advocacy, BVFCL aims to foster a collective consciousness that embraces sustainable living and responsible consumption. By promoting the reduction, reuse, and recycling of plastics, we can minimize their usage and contribute to a cleaner, healthier planet for future generations.As part of our World Environment Day celebrations, BVFCL has organized various activities to instill awareness and engage the community. On-the-spot essay and drawing competitions were organized in schools to educate students about the significance of environmental protection. Moreover, our employees actively participated in poster making and essay competitions, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication. To create a vibrant ambiance, colorful banners have been strategically placed throughout the BVFCL Township. Additionally, a cleanliness program has been initiated in the surrounding areas, ensuring a hygienic environment for all. BVFCL has distributed badges provided by the National Safety Council among employees, emphasizing the importance of safety in all our endeavors.
Furthermore, BVFCL hosted a ceremonial tree plantation event this morning to contribute to the World Environment Day celebrations. By planting trees, we strive to enhance the green cover and restore ecological balance in our surroundings. Additionally, we have identified the Cleanest Department of BVFCL, recognizing their outstanding efforts in maintaining a clean and environmentally friendly workplace. The culmination of the activities was marked by a Seminar, graced by the esteemed presence of S.P. Mohanty, CMD, BVFCL. The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including S.K. Das, Director, Finance, and P.K. Banik, Director, Production, along with senior officials, employees, school children, teachers, and parents. Awards for various competitions were presented during the event.BVFCL is honored to commemorate World Environment Day and encourages everyone to join us on this journey of awareness, action, and transformation.
