CIL TRAINS UNEMPLOYED YOUTH IN ASSAM

Coal India Ltd. has trained unemployed youth in Assam at Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) and Centre for Skilling & Technical Support (CSTS), Guwahati for six months as part of a new CSR initiative. The training comprised of Machine operator in ‘Injection Moulding’, ‘Plastic Extrusion’ and ‘Plastic Recycling’. The training was totally funded by CIL which took care of the fees for training, boarding, lodging and placement. On completion of training all the youth have been offered jobs in reputed organisations.
