Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath has said that the sheer rumor is being spread about the decision taken in with reference to the land of tribals in scheduled areas can be sold to the non tribals. The state government has not taken any such decision. The tribal land is still non-existent in the state, There is a complete ban on selling Adivasi land. Government is committed to protect all interests of tribals, Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that the illusion is being spread that Madhya Pradesh government has given permission has been given to sell tribal land to non-tribals in scheduled areas.The rumor is being spread by vested selfish elements, which is not only untrue but also baseless. In Madhya Pradesh, the land of tribals is not allowed to be sold to any non-tribals nor any change has been made in the provision.According to Section 165 of the Code of Land Revenue in Scheduled Tribal Areas of the state, There is a complete ban on selling tribal land to a non-tribal and also the district collector
can not allow this. Government of Madhya Pradesh is to protect all interests of tribals, We are committed and will never take any such step which is not in the interest of the tribals of the state.The Chief Minister said that the general change has made on which confusion and rumor is being spread that, however it is just The deadline for diversion after purchasing tribal land has been abolished.
