K. Narayan has resumed as the Managing Director of National Backward Classes
Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC) CPSE under Ministry of Social
Justice & Empowerment with effect from 01.01.2016. He was working in the
capacity of Group General Manager (Strategic Planning) with Container
Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) CPSE under Ministry of Railways.
Narayan originally belongs to Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineer (1993
joining) and graduated under the Special Class Railway Apprenticeship (SCRA)
scheme of Indian Railways. He is an Associate Member (Mechanical) and
Chartered Engineer, Institution of Engineers, India and graduate Engineering
Council Examination, London. He also holds Master in Business Administration
(Human Resource Management) from IGNOU.
Besides his 23 years of work experience in the Railways & CONCOR, where he has
handled multi-disciplinary functions, Narayan has also authored a self-
development book titled “Ancient Scriptures for the Modern Mind”.
