Madhya Pradesh ranks first in the PM’s Swanidhi Yojana, 47% applications accepted across the country from MP

Bhopal: September 2, 2020: Madhya Pradesh has left behind all the states of the country in the matter of sanctioning loans to applicants under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana.Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to achieve the target of one lakh in terms of sanctioning loans to applicants. The total number of eligible street vendors registered under the scheme is 4,47,914, out of which 2,24,619 number of applications are registered on the portal.In these applications, 99,901 applicants have been sanctioned loans. While the total number of pending applications for acceptance in banks is 1,24,718. Only 27 percent of the total applications submitted in the country are from Madhya Pradesh. While 47 percent of the total applications accepted in the country are from the state alone.
