NHDC organizes state level painting competition on “Energy Conservation”

State Level Painting Competition was organized by NHDC Limited for “Energy Conservation-2019” in Madhya Pradesh under a national level awareness campaign to promote energy conservation by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India. To increase energy conservation awareness and creative power among the school children of the state, in two categories (Group ‘A’ Painting competition was organized in class 4,5 and 6 and children of class 7,8 and 9 in group ‘B’.
Like previous years, NHDC Limited has been made the nodal agency for this important work in Madhya Pradesh this year by the Ministry of Power.

On 14 November 2019, a 2-hour competition was held at Apex Bank, Subhash Yadav Bhawan, TT Nagar Bhopal, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. After this: 4:00 pm. The awards were distributed by the Governor of Madhya Pradesh Lal G Tandon ,On this occasion, the Governor appreciated NHDC for the role of increasing energy conservation awareness by NHDC in the state and appealed to all participants and parents to adopt and spread awareness in daily life as energy conservation messenger.

Highlighting the importance of energy conservation in his address, Arun Kumar Mishra, Managing Director of NHDC said that now energy conservation needs to be included in our good habits as electricity savings are equal to double power generation and energy for development Protection is the need of the present and the future. To participate in this competition at the national level, attended by approximately 11.85 million schoolchildren more than 69 thousand schools in the state Out of these, 50 outstanding paintings from each category were selected by the jury. 100 children selected from both the categories participated in the state level painting competition organized by NHDC.
