National Mineral Development Corporation, a mini-Ratna company of the Government of India, has been conferred with the prestigious Scope of Corporate Excellence Award for working in the field of Innovation.

On behalf of NMDC, Sumit Deb, Executive Director (K&P) received the award from the hands of former Governor of Sikkim and former Home Secretary, Government of India, Dr. B.P. Singh, IAS

NMDC was given this award for organizing an International Conference on “Minerals and Metals Outlook-2030” in New Delhi. More than 600 delegates from 16 countries participated in this conference.

During the said conference the future of mineral and metals was discussed in the world. To understand the global commodity market for minerals and metals from this seminar, highlight the interconnection between mineral development and economic development, identify the opportunities in Indian metals industry and Indian mining and metals by the development in the market of international metals.
