Chandra Shekhar Solanki, an IPS officer of 2006 batch, Solanki a gold medalist also an MBA in Marketing hails from Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) presently Chandra Shekhar Solanki is Superintendent of Police Umaria (MP). He has pulled-up his sleeves to curb illegal mining in his jurisdiction therefore the mining mafia seems to have sleepless night in his area. In order to maintain law and order and enhancing effective policing Solanki has engaged himself 24×7 in coordination with his team and localities of Umaria. He is taking help of hi-tech methods to enhance his information system via WhatsApp, twetter and Facebook. In past Chandra Shekhar Solanki has served in various positions in MP, ASP SP office Chhattarpur,ASP SP office Jabalpur, ASP SP office Hoshangabad, Adll.SP SP office Bhopal, SP SP office Ashoknagar and Commandant 6th Bn SAF Jabalpur.
