REC Limited received the ICAI Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting for FY2018-19 in ‘Public Sector Entities’ category. REC was recognised for its disclosure practices in its first Ind-As (Indian Accounting Standards) financial statements and Annual Report, and was the only public sector entity to be awarded in this category this year. The award was received by Sanjay Bansal, General Manager (Finance), REC and Harsh Baweja, Chief Project Manager (Jaipur), REC at an award ceremony held at Jaipur on 23rd January, 2020. ICAI had received 188 entries this year for the awards, out of which 12 entities in seven categories were awarded.
