Since it’s inception SECL has been supporting it’s employees and the residents with the benefits of medical and healthcare facilities. In this same SECL has decided to provide Rs.17.5 for the mobile medical unit, Hospital of District Surajpur, under its corporate social responsibility. SECL will provide this amount under the CSR fund of Vishrampur area to the district collector of Surajpur, whereas 80 percent of the amount will be given while issuing the order and rest 20 percent amount will be provided at he time of medical mobile unit purchase. it is to be learned that SECL provide general aid as well as emergency aid to it’s operational areas. even at the time of world biggest pandemic COVID-19. In the month April 2020, a total amount of 21.01 crores financial aid was provided for different programs in different areas. Under it’s CSR, SECL provided food packets at Balaspur Railway station to the passing through hungry labours.
