Three-day conference of DGPs and IGPs is goimg to start from January 6th at Tekanpur in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.The theme of this year’s Director General of Police Conference is ‘Cipher Terrorism and social media that affect young children’. An estimated gathering of 250 IPS Officers will hear Prime Minister Narendra Modi speak on internal security and on the negative impact of social media among children like “Blue Whale”Thirty-five DGPs and Joint Directors of the Intelligence Bureau will be participating in the three-day conference.Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and other senior functionaries from security agencies will also be there. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is giving a lecture on cross border terrorism. It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held this conference earlier in Assam, Bhuj in Gujarat and Hyderabad. now PM Modi wants to enhance the importance of the police in smaller towns as well.
