The Chief Executive Officer, Niti Aayog, Government of India, Amitabh Kant has appreciated two cities of Madhya Pradesh state Bhopal & Indore for it’s upkeep. He has mentioned that the national capital New Delhi to learn from Bhopal and Indore for such cleaning and upkeep.

They have taken radical measures:door to door collection of waste;No plastic garbage bags;heavy fines;segregation of waste; recycling of all waste material;Effective monitoring and execution; Delhi needs to learn from these cities”
