The process has been designed to offer a secure, convenient and accessible platform enabling citizens to complete the exercise from anywhere.
Following the self-enumeration phase, House Listing Operations (HLO) will be conducted from June 1 to June 30 by over one lakh census workers across the state.
The transition towards a fully digital census marks a major administrative and technological shift in India’s governance ecosystem. Officials believe the move will not only streamline data collection but also improve transparency, efficiency and real-time processing of demographic information.
