To celebrate the success and excellence in business , international business awards aimed at recognising and rewarding the best, were given away at a glittering event – India – UAE Business Summit & Awards 2018, held at Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai recently. The awards were distributed by Tahnoon bin Saeed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, grandson of King of Al Ain and Prince of Abu Dhabi at a function organised by Hot Entertainment and Media that comes out with a monthly business magazine- Observer Dawn and an online news channel- Hot News
Over three dozen awards in different business categories were presented. The Business Excellence Award of the Year (Energy & Petrochem) was bagged by Gulf Petrochem Group. The award for Most Successful Businessman of the Year went to Sandeep Jaiswal of Global Alliance while award for the Game Changer in Leadership was secured by Mustafa Saasa, Chairman, Raj Group of Companies. Mr Zulfiquar Z Ghadiyal, Director, Asia and MENA Region, Encanto Potash Corporation was declared Most Influential CEO of the Year while Sandeep Kumar Ghosh of the Reliance Group was adjudged the Best Leader in Corporate Affairs. Best Company of the Year awards for healthcare, manpower outsourcing, advertising were respectively bagged by Insignia Communications, B4 Solutions, Media Squared. The Emerging Business Entrepreneurs Awards went to Sabnam Singhal, Nicole Rodrigues Larsen and Raju Shroff. In the real estate & construction category, the award for Most Trusted Developer of the Year went to SCC Heights Builders. The award for Best Affordable Project of the Year was bagged by Griha Aawas ( SPL Aawasiya Yojana) while San Infra developers was adjudged as the Best Affordable Developer of the Year (Tier 2 & tier 3 cities) OLX.com was declared as the Most Trusted Real estate Platform while Danube Group was chosen as the Best construction Company of the Year. Al Musallas Construction was selected as the Best Company of the Year in Luxury Villas. In the hospitality and leisure sector, the award for Best Company of the Year went to Fortune Group of Hotels while the Life Time Achievement Award in Hospitality was bagged by Mr Manjeet Singh. Hospitality.com was declared Hospitality Leader of the Year. The award for Best Hospitality Services Provider Company of the Year went to Khamas Hospitality Group.

Besides awards, another highlight of the event was a panel discussion on Business Development in India & UAE – Opportunity in Real Estate, Retail & Jewellery, moderated by Rakesh Purohit. The prominent speakers included Pankaj Jain, MD, KW Group, Sh Badal Yagnik, MD, Cushman & Wakefield, Sh Gagan Randev, Director Colliers, Dr Ananta Raghuvanshi, Country Head India Damac, Sh Gajendra Singh Chauhan, Former FTII Chairman & Actor, Rajpal Yadav, Actor, Zulfiquar Ghadiyali and Hariom Tyagi, Chairperson, program Organizing Committee .

Sheikh Tahnoon bin Saeedbin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, grandson of Al Ain was the chief guest while Suhail Mohammad Al Zarooni, eminent businessman and Guiness Book of World Records holder was Special Guest. The other special guests, included Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Sh K.C Tyagi, Chief General Secretary and National Spokesperson of Janata Dal (United), Vipul, Consul General of India, Dubai, film actors Gajendra Chauhan & Rajpal Yadav.
