Silchar, MP crticises ‘underpriced’ bid to sell HPL units, she claims it as a scam,

Sushmita Dev, member of parliament from Silchar has reportedly criticised the central government, she has claimed that the ‘underpriced’ bid to dispose the defunct Cachar and Nagaon Paper Mills, units of Hindustan Paper Corporation (HPC) is an alleged scam in Assam,
The MP, Ms. Dev said that If the Government wish to save the profit-yielding industry in the State, then the government should initaite to resolve the industrail disputes.
Sushmita Dev also mentioned that Government is losing its control over the public sector undertakings due to lack of its interest to protect the industry.
