Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani through a twitter handle extended his gratitude to the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi for being benevolent to the people of Gujarat, as the state gets first AIIMS at Rajkot which adds one more facet to its identity.

Ealier today the Gujarat government informed that an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will be established near Rajkot in the state.

As per the reports Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said the Director of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana under the Union Ministry of Health informed the Gujarat Health Department Wednesday evening that an AIIMS has been allocated to Rajkot.
