THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|Five officials of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) were honoured with prestigious awards in different categories during the 52nd Foundation Day celebrations of Coal India Limited, held in Kolkata on 1 November 2026. The occasion recognised their outstanding professional contributions, leadership and commitment to organisational excellence. CMD, BCCL, Manoj Kumar Agarwal, graced the celebrations.

The awardees included Anil Kumar Sinha, Area General Manager, Lodna Area, who received the Best Area GM Award; Arvind Sinha, GM (Estate), who was conferred the Best HOD Award; and Hitesh Verma, GM (Marketing & Sales), who received the Individual Excellence Award.

Recognising excellence and contribution across different areas of responsibility, Rupal Bhargava, Assistant Manager, Jharia Master Plan Department, was honoured with the Women Excellence Award (Executive), while Naveen Thakur, Senior Manager (Mining)/TS to CVO, received the Vigilance Excellence Award.

The recognition of five BCCL officials at the prestigious Coal India Foundation Day celebrations highlights the organisation’s commitment to professional excellence, effective leadership, innovation and integrity.
