Meghalaya by Ministry of DoNER New Delhi – 3 rd June, 2016: Airports Authority of India participated in one day event “DoNER Day Celebration 2016” on 27 th May 2016 on the theme “ Mera Desh Badal East Region at Shillong, Meghalaya. The Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity Narendra Modi, Prime Minster of India followed by a Public Rally. The event was preceded by the 65 th Plenary Session of the North East Council at another venue in Shillong, in which Ministry of Civil Aviation was represented by Airports Authority of India.The AAI showcased the upcoming Greenfield airport at Pakyong, Sikkim and the development of Tezu Airport, Arunachal Pradesh and proposed Greenfield airport atHolongi near Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh and also apprised the visitors about infrastructure development, cargo activities and other new technologies adopted byAirports Authority of India for the smooth flow of traffic from Indian Airports.
