1983 batch IAS officer of Uttrakhand cadre Shatrughna Singh is tiped to succeed Rakesh Sharma as Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand. Sharma is retiring by this month end.
After the financial bungling of over Rs 6,000 crore the government has decided to go in for internal audit of all PSU banks. Orders in this regard are likely to be issued in a couple of days. If sources are to be believed government is receiving complaints of various banks about financial bungling.
