March 8, 2025: SECL Celebrates Women’s Day with Empowering Workshop and Cultural Festivities ; In honor of International Women’s Day, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) hosted a remarkable event featuring Dr. Aditi Govitrikar, India’s first Mrs. World, actress, and corporate coach. Dr. Govitrikar led an empowering workshop titled “Success Mantras for Women,” offering valuable insights on confidence, self-reliance, and determination to overcome challenges.

The event was attended by key SECL officials, including Director Technical (Operations/Project & Planning) N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Personnel) Biranchi Das, Director (Finance) D. Sunil Kumar, and Chief Vigilance Officer Himanshu Jain. A large number of female employees also participated in the event, which highlighted the importance of women’s contribution to the workforce.

In her address, Dr. Govitrikar encouraged women to cultivate both mental and physical strength, emphasizing that resilience is key to achieving success in every aspect of life.

The event also saw the felicitation of winners from various competitions organized for female employees, further celebrating their achievements. Cultural performances added an extra layer of vibrancy to the occasion, making it a memorable celebration.
